Our Commitment
We are committed to hold fast to the truth of God’s Word.
We will faithfully do our best to remove the old nature and put on the mind of our Lord Jesus Christ and practice the truth set forth in his Word.
As per Ephesians 4, we will make every effort to live a life worthy of the calling we have received, and to keep the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace.
(NKJV - New King James Version)
[Ephesians 4:1-6]:
"I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord,
beseech you to walk worthy of the calling
with which you were called,
with all lowliness and gentleness, with
longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,
endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit
in the bond of peace.
There is one body and one Spirit, just as
you were called in one hope of your calling;
one Lord, one faith, one baptism;
one God and Father of all, who is above all,
and through all, and in you all."
We strive to be kind, compassionate, and forgiving. We will withdraw from lying and speak truthfully to you. As per Philippians 2, we will do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but will manifest humility and look to the best interests of our brethren in the Body of Christ.
(NKJV - New King James Version)
[Philippians 2:1-4]:
"Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ,
if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of
the Spirit, if any affection and mercy,
fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having
the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or
conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each
esteem others better than himself.
Let each of you look out not only for his own
interests, but also for the interests of others."
We will subjugate our own ego for the overall good of the team. We will give prayerful consideration to appropriate reproof and correction.
We will trust the Lord Jesus to support our beliefs, so that we do not exalt ourselves at the expense of others. We will stand up for our honest convictions even if they differ from yours, but we will consider your perspective, and we will support the majority opinion unless we feel it violates God's Word. Our objective will not be to please men, but to please the Lord, who tries our hearts.
We pledge our commitment in faith.
God bless you richly,
Bare In Christ
